1. Turn the menstrual cycle into art
Guided by artists who transformed menstruation research into creative works, you’ll express your own experiences with or reflections on menstruation. Leave with a deeper understanding of both the menstrual experience and the connection between art and science.
2. NATURE WORKS
Workshop and Outdoor Exhibition in het park de Blauwe Bergen Come join us to explore the environment and your place within it. Are we part of nature? To find out, you’ll have to open your mind to connect. We will create unexpected pieces of ‘land art’, and in the end we will show our work to each other.
3. Discovering soil through colours and art
Have you ever thought that you can make art with soil? taking inspiration form the beautiful creatures that live in it? In this workshop we will discover together the diversity of soils focusing on their colourful pigments and taking inspiration from the organisms that inhabit them. You will then receive a tutorial on how to paint with soil.
4. Have you ever looked close enough?
Taking the time for a breath and for mindful observation, we will look closer at plants and lichen structure. Putting them on paper will help to look at their geometries. A moment of observation can offer a lifetime of new insight into our environment. Come join us!
5. Dance/Movement & Real-Time Composition Workshop
This workshop is about movement and its artistic expression in relation to others in space, to space itself and in relation to time. We will explore the role and function of the feet, the spine and the eyes, to bring us into movement. Leave with a deeper understanding of movement/dance and real-time composition.
6. Writing with Nature
Writing with Nature, Finding new Language. Writer and PhD researcher Beitske Bouwman invites you to Write with Nature and find new ways, words, language to express and share meanings of the experiences in and with Nature.
